cerascreen achieves 4% conversion rate since launch with guenstiger.de CSS

cerascreen is the European market leader for home medical sample collection and submission kits and offers selected nutritional supplements as well as coaching and courses on the topics of health, nutrition and fitness. The focus is on the more than 50 self-tests that can be used to detect allergies, check the supply of vitamins and minerals and check the levels of various hormones.

guenstiger.de is one of the leading price comparison services in Germany and as an independent consumer platform provides its users with all the information they need to make the right decision when shopping. In addition to guenstiger.de, the comparison services Preissuchmaschine.de, preis.info and the Hungarian sites Argep.hu and ArPortal.hu also belong under the umbrella of guenstiger.de GmbH. As a certified Premium CSS Partner of Google, guenstiger.de also has the option to place products as Product Listing Ad (PLA) on Google in order to reach an even larger group of shoppers throughout Europe.

Challenge

cerascreen has been working successfully with guenstiger.de since 2021. cerascreen's main objective was to increase both the conversion rate and sales. They also wanted to increase the visibility of their products in price search engines. To achieve this, the cooperation with guenstiger.de, which began in 2021, has since been intensified.

Approach

As part of a diversified strategy, guenstiger.de published cerascreen's products both on its own price comparison websites and on Google Shopping. Our team of marketing and analytics experts used a central platform to maximise ROI and increase the visibility of the shop's offers. Different optimisation strategies were used for products with positive ROI and products with low traffic. API integration with the Google Ads platform allowed the campaign to be optimized quickly and transactions to be increased. Real-time monitoring of traffic, sales and cost data played a key role.

Results

By combining search and Google Shopping ads with an advanced bidding strategy, cerascreen was able to achieve very good results with guenstiger.de CSS and continue to grow: Compared to 2022, a 49% increase in ROAS was recorded in 2023, with 71% more transactions and a 4% conversion rate since launch with guenstiger.de in 2021.
